SSHP

This week:

Get Smart About Antibiotics Awareness Week
The annual CDC Get Smart About Antibiotics Awareness Week is November 16th-20th.  SSHP recognizes and supports this national event by educating the community on antibiotic use, resistance, and other general information.  This year, we are volunteering at the Clinton Family YMCA and Advanced Family Medicine in Clinton.  We have opened up volunteering to all students; more information about out event and the links to sign up are provided below.
You can learn more about antibiotic awareness at: www.cdc.gov/getsmart/
Volunteering
Please wear your WHITE COAT and dress professionally (as you would for rotation).  There will be sign-in/sign-out sheets at both sites.  Hours are PRE-APPROVED for professional service, and Taylor Greene will be able to sign off on these.  If you sign up for hours and do not show up the site for your shift, it will be considered a professional violation, and action will be taken accordingly.
Here are the links to sign up:

There will be trivia about antibiotics each day throughout the week.  It can be located in the Student Cafe, Facebook, and on the TV monitors around school.  A winner will be drawn each day to receive a dress down token.
Please contact Theodora Hampton or Jamie Hansen (jhansen@presby.edu) for questions related to trivia.
CPNP Meeting
SSHP is invited to CPNP's meeting this Monday, 11/16 from 12-1 in room 141! Dr. Sutterlin has come a long way to speak with PCSP students and it would be great if you all could attend! SSHP will not be providing lunch, but feel free to bring your own!
