Celebration of Difference

Hello Students, Faculty and Staff,

During January we recognize "Celebration of Difference."  I will be placing two maps on the second floor between the café and student lounge (where the student mailboxes are located).  I will also place a small cup with push pins so you can take a push pin and place it on the map indicating where you are from. It is interesting to see how many pins are in the location of where you are from and how many different countries people are actually from!  Please plan to stop by and place a pin to indicate where you are from.

Also, mark your calendars for January 22nd from 12:00-1:00 pm.  We will be having our "Taste of Culture."  For those of you who are not familiar with this event, students, faculty and staff who are interested in preparing food from their culture can bring food, drink, etc., for everyone to have a taste.  Thus ... it is called "Taste of Culture!"  You will hear more about this event from SNPhA, but if you have questions or are interested in participating by bringing some food for tasting, you can contact P2 student, Minhaj Dalal (mfdalal@presby.edu) or P2 student, Jessica Sanchez-Cruz (jsanchez-@presby.edu). By the way, you can also dress according to your culture!  This is something we started last year, and it was really interesting to see the various ways different cultures dress and hear some music from their culture as well!  It will be a great time, and I hope you will plan to attend.
